Prairie Story BBQ Recipe Swap

I'm so glad you could come to my Prairie Story BBQ Recipe Swap! Share YOUR appys, salads, meat, veggies, dessert, beverages....anything you’d like to have at a BBQ! To kick things off I've posted a new recipe - Cedar Plank Salmon.

2) Non-Bloggers: Simply enter your recipe in the Comments section.

  2. Well, technological idiot that I am, I put in my name instead of the recipe name... don't know if you can correct it or not but it's supposed to be barbecue cole slaw. Saw a recipe years ago where they added ketchup and mustard to regular cole slaw. I kicked it up a notch with jerk seasoning and wing sauce. Enjoy :-)

  3. This Caramel Apple Salad recipe is so easy, feeds a crowd and is nice and cool for summer barbeque weather. Enjoy!

    Caramel Apple Salad

    4 apples
    16 ounce can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
    3 ounce package fat-free, sugar-free, butterscotch
    pudding mix
    8 ounces cool whip
    2 cups miniature marshmallows
    ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

    Core and chop apples. In a large bowl combine pineapple, cool whip and pudding mix. Fold in chopped apples, marshmallows and nuts. Chill.

  13. I love clamato juice and you can't go wrong with pairing it with beer. I've heard of something similar called the Calgary Red Eye. Makes me want to travel to Canada just so I can have one. Cheers to summer!
